This one feels a bit different…

Over the last year or so, I’ve been shortlisted across three national industry awards - twice for Rising Star and once for Young Achiever. I’m so excited to have been named a finalist again in the Financial Reporter Awards 2025🤩

I’m so proud but more than anything, I’m grateful.

This is for all business owners - especially women - where the stats are still stacked against us. For anyone who’s had to carve out their own space in their industry or felt like they didn’t quite fit.

When I qualified as a financial adviser at 18, I felt extremely out of place. So I decided to do my own thing.

And since then, I’ve been working to make financial advice feel more approachable, empowering and accessible - especially for women in business.

This recognition means so much. It shows that doing things differently matters. That there’s space in this industry for new voices, fresh energy and a more modern way of supporting people.

I just had to share this real-life example!

Unfortunately, it’s one of those things we wish we’d sorted sooner. It was the first thing I sorted when I started working.

A client of mine, an aesthetic practitioner, broke her hand and couldn’t work for months. Thankfully, she had income protection in place, and it completely saved her.
